I believe investing in yourself, your family, your marriage, or your relationships is the best place for your time, effort and money. My approach is relaxed and respectful. My patients often comment: "You are not like other therapists I have had. You listen." I focus on what you want to change, not what I, or anyone else, wants you to change.
While no one can control or predict the future, I work with people to learn how your approach towards the world can have an impact on whether you simply re act, or whether you can adapt to what happens, continue on your path, and not always be at the mercy of circumstance. With every new patient, however, I conduct a thorough screening to determine how any number of factors might be impacting your functioning. From there it becomes a process of identifying what we can do together to change or reduce those factors to allow you to have the best possible life.
